How do I submit a story?

If you are on the Internet and happen across an article or story that you think would be of interest to this community, copy the URL (e.g. the URL of this page is http://www.sexhealth.org/faq.shtml) and click the "submit story" link on the left navigation bar. Follow the instructions and write a brief summary of the relevant content in the box labelled "The Scoop". Finally paste the URL of the article after your summary. Our editor will then view your submission and determine whether or not it is appropriate for posting. STORIES OR ARTICLES WITH LINKS TO EXPLICIT PORNOGRAPHY OR OTHER INAPPRORIATE MATERIAL WILL BE DELETED.

How do I submit a comment?

Click on the "Read More" link at the bottom of the article you want to respond to. Then click the "Reply" button at the bottom of the page. Here you will be able to provide comments about the article. It's a simple process, although not altogether intuitive.

How do I sign up for an account?

You may sign up for an account by clicking the "Join Our Community" button at the top of the page. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE TO SIGN UP FOR AN ACCOUNT.

What are the advantages of creating an account?

You do not have to sign up for an account to use the Sexual Health infoCenter, but there are some advantages in doing so.

If you choose to create an account at the Sexual Health infoCenter, you will be able to fully take advantage of all of the features of our site. Whenever you post a story or comment, your Nickname (along with email address, should you choose to provide it) will appear attached to your submission. Futhermore, you can customize the look and feel of the infoCenter to better suit your tastes. For example, you'll be able to customize what the front page looks like.
